Claudemoore Park (Sterling, VA) Farm house, barn, out buildings, fences, forested path, fields.
Fairfax City Hall (Armstrong Street, Fairfax, VA) Pillars, brick amphitheatre, cute stairways and tree-lined brick patio.
Fairfax Corner’s Shopping Center (Monument Drive, Fairfax, VA) Urban setting with lots of color. Vine trellises. Fountain. Shops don’t open until 10am.
Fairfax Visitor’s Center (Main Street Fairfax, VA) Brick backgrounds, walking path with greenery, playground.
Frying Pan Farm (2739 W Ox Rd, Herndon, VA 20171) Beautiful red barns, other buildings, fences, field.
Gov’t Center Grounds (Gov’t Ctr. Parkway, Fairfax, VA) Lots of cute paths and bridges through a wooded area. Raised field surrounded by trees (looks fabulous in the Fall).
Great Falls National Park (Falls Church, Va) Large rocky areas, falls, wooded areas.
The Gris Mill (Route 1, Alexandria) Mill, pond, wooden fences, stone walls, two stone bridges, forested background.
Manassas National Battlefield (Route 26, Centreville, VA) Stone bridge, “civil war” fences, Wooden raised path through the woods, Creek, field with straw and pine trees. Stone house further down the road.
Meadowlark Botanical Gardens (near Wolf Trap, Vienna, VA) Admission Fee $5/adult plus photography fee ($20). Beautiful grounds, great during Cherry Blossom season.
